Our in house drawing office is equipped with the latest structural steel CAD draughting software. The main software packages being used are  :-
 
Strucad Version 15 
 
AutoCad 2007 with Multisuite 2007
 
X-Steel Version 15

Linked to the Fabrication Department, the Drawing Office are able to download construction and fabrication drawings direct to the factory CNC machinery for steelwork preparation. With certain Sub-Contract elements e.g. Cold Rolled steelwork, we are able to dial in to our sub-contractors fabrication facility and upload our drawings directly to their machines, enabling the quickest turn around available. It is our company policy to use e-mail for the transfer of drawings and information as much as is practically possible.

Extranet, Intranet and DMS Access

Drawing Office personnel have access to Extranet sites provided by our clients and our own internal intranet / DMS (Document Management System), which enables easy access to Architects and Engineers details, Photographs, Surveys etc.

Over 350 years of experience

With over 20 full time experienced draughtsmen we are able to react quickly to late alterations that may need to be incorporated within the fabrication and construction. Our draughtsmen have experience ranging from 2 years to 35 years, and the overall experience is over 350 years.

Training

We now employ our own Strucad Training Manager which enables us to give comprehensive 'one-to-one' training to a regular intake of Trainees. This level of training and intake will further add to our in-house capacity and capabilities to respond to our Clients needs.
