Knowsley’s Building Schools for the future (BSF) programme is seeing the creation of seven new centres for learning, which will replace the 11 existing secondary schools in the area over a three year period.

Robinson Steel Structures were appointed in a partnering agreement with BBCL to supply deliver and erect the structural steelwork consisting of open, hollow and fabricated sections to the seven new learning centres. Robinson were also appointed to procure the pre-cast flooring, pre-cast stairs, and pre-cast lift shafts for the projects.

Built on the sites of existing schools in the Knowsley area, Robinson Steel Structure’s ability to perform was critical in order to meet the challenging programme requirements of each of the seven new learning centres. Robinson Steel Structures state of the art fabrication facility was supplying and erecting fabricated steelwork to three of the learning centre sites concurrently at the peak of Robinson’ activity on these complex projects.
