Location: Queen Street, Worksop
Main Contractor – Wates. Supply and erect 65 tonne of structural steelwork including metal staircase. The site was particularly difficult to access due to the obvious central location in Worksop. The build sequence had to be adhered to, crane access was very difficult, the shape of the structure was challenging (as can be seen from the attached photographs), and unfortunately site working hours were restrictive.

Location:LRI Emergency Department, Leicester
RS supplied and erected 500 tonnes of structural steelwork including the precast planks, stairs, metal decking and precast culverts including the 15 tonne stair pod. The project required that the structural steelwork and associated sub-trades were completed within a 12 week programme whilst ensuring that the “A&E” department were able to function as normal.

Location: Great North Road, Newark
Main Contractor – RG Carter. RS supplied and erected 300 tonne of structural steelwork including the precast floor planks and precast stairs. The site was essentially sandwiched between the main Newark road and the Railway Station thereby requiring that the steelwork and the precast deliveries were sequenced to ensure there was no further need to access the site in the vicinity of the Railway Station. Railtrack insisted that any steelwork within 6 metres of the Railway track should be “resin fastened” to the concrete bases (2016).
Size: 300 tonne.
The new offices which will be “modern and cost effective” will be shared with a number of other public sector parties.
Location: NTU Clifton Campus
Nottingham Trent University, Interdisciplinary STEM Teaching & Engagement Centre, Clifton Campus.
Main Contractor – Nottingham Trent University. Robinson Structures are pleased to have been associated with the supply and installation of the steelwork and precast package for the new Interdisciplinary STEM Teaching and Engagement Centre (ISTEC) which will contain state-of-the-art laboratories for teaching undergraduates and postgraduate students. It will also support the University’s schools, colleges and community outreach activities, while providing important facilities for industry and a platform for wider collaboration. RS supplied and erected 180 tonnes of structural steelwork including the precast planks, stairs and metal decking. The site programme was completed ahead of schedule and handed over in a phased manner to suit the following trades.
