It is the policy of Robinson
Construction to achieve and maintain registration as a firm
of assessed capability to BS.EN.ISO 14001, ensuring that all
of the activities of the Company are carried out in a manner
which reflects a concern for the natural environment and which
would be consistent with the environmental policies of our
customers.
The Environmental Manual defines function responsibilities and essential
environmental management criteria to implement the Company Policy and it is
fully in compliance with ISO:14001 and CSQS 505.
The Environmental Manager has the responsibility and authority to monitor the
implementation and effectiveness of the environmental management system.
The environmental management system has the full support of the companies
executive and functional management who will ensure that policy is understood,
implemented and maintained at all levels of the organisation, directing all
employees to comply with the requirements of the Environmental Manual and its
associated controls and procedures.
The Company is committed to comply fully with all relevant legislation and
regulations and with any environmental management measures, which may be
required by our customers. Robinson Construction are registered with Derby City
Council under the Environmental Protection Act and are fully committed to
working with that authority in all areas of pollution control.
The Company is committed to managing its activities in such a way as to,
wherever practical, control and minimise pollution, minimise waste and dispose
of such waste as is produced in a proper and controlled manner and to the
continuous improvement of its environmental management system and environmental
performance.
This policy and other information about the companies environmental performance
will be made available to our customers, other interested third parties and the
general public on request.
